Workbook Entry No. 2 Multiple Plates to Create One
In this image I was able to compile three different plates to create one image. The most difficult part was comparing plates to check that everything was even and would align. The streets did not help because they are all on a slope. This was a succesful trial and will hopefully lead to more panormaic images.
Jessee St. John is a practioner of the wet plate collodion process. Discovered in the 1850s collodion photographer is an intense photographic process used to originally photograph the Civil War. Using period correct equipment and formulas Jessee St. John creates tintypes and ambrotypes.
